Beloved Doctor, author, and Board Member of several Lyme disease groups, as well as the beloved Bowen Labs, he had a long and distinguished career on several continents, before becoming a Lyme victim and Lyme patient advocate. He earned the nickname "Ben Franklin" for his work at the third Gettysburg Convention. His wisdom, wit and zest for life kept that convention lively, meaningful and fun. As with all of those lost to this horrific disease, his memory is kept alive daily in the hearts and minds of those who miss them, including the chair of the Gettysburg Lyme Support Group.
